Join a Giving Society
Be recognized for your support to State! Membership in a giving society may include a spouse and is renewable annually based on the university's fiscal year (July 1—June 30).
Why support the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is the simplest, most direct way to support WVSU. The Annual Fund provides a steady source of funding for academic programs, athletics, campus upkeep, student scholarships and much more. Gifts to the Annual Fund create access to education and help students get the most out of their college experience.

The Legacy Society
The Legacy Society recognizes all who have provided for the future of West Virginia State University by making the Foundation a part of their estate or gift planning process and have informed the University of their plans. Opportunities include making a bequest or naming the Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, annuity, trust or IRA.
Don't Forget Matching Gifts
Did you know that you could double your gift to State? Many companies will match the gifts of their employees; all you need to do is ask! Find out if your company provides matching gifts by checking with your human resources department or contact the WVSU Foundation at (304) 766-3130.
